Ten years from another victory when the team was 2 goals down.

A horrible night started at Butarque, it was only twelve minutes of the match and the team was losing by two goals. The villains of Leganés were Bouldini and Ontiveros that scored for Fuenlabrada in a duel that seemed difficult for the home team. Nevertheless, hand to hand with the supporters at the stadium, our team will turn around a result that started as a nightmare and finished like a sweet dream. 

Leganés wasn't available to turn a match on in the league in all the matches played in the current season. Last time the white and blue team make this, was last 25 of april when Lega start a match losing against Alcorcón, and finished with a victory with goals of Gaku and Arnaiz (1-2). Since that moment, the only time for the team to win back a result was in the cup against Cultural Leonesa with an added time included (2-3). 

However, to search for a comeback as the one of monday (After losing 0-2 and winning 3-2) we need to go one decade behind. Lega did not achieve this since the season 2011/12 on Segunda División ‘B’ when the club turned over two goals with Rayo Vallecano ‘B’ on the City Sport of white and red, that ended 2-3.

On those days, Leganés was coached by Chema Rico, and the team was in relegation positions for the third division. That april 1 of 2012, gameweek 32, the pepineros visit Rayo ‘B’ in a match that they  were losing on the minute 36’ 2-0. Rubén Navarro, short the distance minutes after going to half time, and Chupe tied up things when they get back to the field. However the draw wasn't enough to Lega, so Javi Ballesteros on added time made the definitive 2-3 that took the team from the red zone.

Ten years after that historic moment, the pepineros make it again.  On this occasion it was at Butarque so the team could add by three points against Fuenlabrada (3-2) with the helo of their supporters that assisted to the stadium, almost 7.000  souls were on the seats a monday night, that ended with a big smile due to the heroic victory of the warriors in blue and white.
