C.D. Leganés head coach Igor Oca addressed the media in a press conference following the match between the "pepinero" side and Cádiz C.F. at the JP Financial Stadium, corresponding to matchday 41 of LALIGA HYPERMOTION, which ended in a 3-0 victory for the hosts.
The manager assessed what took place during the encounter as follows:
Match assessment: "We were not up to the standard required, not just by the match itself, but by the competition. The game slipped away from us in a situation where we failed to win the second ball to our advantage; for the second goal, we lost a duel and they cleared us out; and for the third, we lacked concentration—they took a quick set-piece, we didn't stop them, and they scored, showing exactly where we are right now. We still have that final option to get it done at home."
Message to the fans: "There is very little we can say; they are suffering enough as it is. They came here with the hope that we would seal it today, and we did not rise to the occasion. Now, it is up to us to put on a highly competitive performance to secure our safety. I am convinced that they will cheer us on just as they have always done, and the evaluations will come at the very end—hopefully with our survival successfully achieved."
