The Blue and Whites' reserve team defeated Unión Adarve (5-0) in the match corresponding to the tenth round of Group 7 of the Third Division RFEF, played at the Butarque Sports Facility.
Marcos Leiva put the team ahead in the 13th minute with a great header from a set piece. Half an hour into the game, Herrero extended the lead after an assist from Álvaro González. Just before halftime, Leiva scored again from a set piece to make it 3-0 and seal his first brace as a player.
After the break, the team did not let up and continued to look to extend their lead. In the 75th minute, Yuri scored the fourth goal and Carlos Muñoz closed out the scoring from the penalty spot. In stoppage time, Javi Garrido prevented Adarve from scoring from the penalty spot by saving the penalty.
Igor Oca's team is the highest scoring team in the league with 27 goals and the team that has conceded the fewest goals with only 5, having kept a clean sheet in seven of the ten games played so far.
