Leganés B earns a point against Racing Madrid FC (1-1)

The Blue and Whites' reserve team and Racing Madrid F.C. shared the points (1-1) in the match played at the Butarque Sports Facility on matchday 12 of Group 7 of the Third Division RFEF.

Igor Oca's team found themselves a man down in the 36th minute of the first half after our goalkeeper Javi Garrido was sent off. Despite this setback, the reserve team continued to attack in search of the first goal of the match, which came in the second half in the 63rd minute when Carlos Muñoz scored from the penalty spot. With ten minutes to go, Racing Madrid F.C. managed to equalize with a goal from outside the area. 

Leganés B will rest this weekend and will return to competition on Sunday, December 7, away against U.D. San Sebastián de los Reyes ‘B’ (7:00 p.m.). The reserve team remains in the promotion playoff spots, occupying fourth place with 23 points, three points behind the second and third-placed teams and six points behind the leaders, Las Rozas C.F.
