The Copa del Rey comes back to Ontime Butarque

C.D. Leganés hosts Albacete Balompié this Thursday (19:00) at the Ontime Butarque Stadium, in a match corresponding to the second round of the Copa de S.M. el Rey. The pepinero side will look to secure a place in the round of 32 in this single‑leg tie played in front of their fans.

Leganés goes into the match after eliminating C.D. Azuaga in the first round (1‑4), and aims to keep progressing in a competition in which they reached the quarter‑finals in the last edition. For this match, Paco López will be without Pulido, Rubén Peña and Lalo due to injury.

For their part, Albacete Balompié come into the match after defeating U.D. San Fernando in their cup debut (0‑3). Alberto González’s side have suffered two consecutive league defeats, and will now try to regain good feelings in the cup competition to continue advancing.
