C.D. Leganés visits C.D. Castellón this Friday (8:30 p.m.) at the SkyFi Castalia Stadium in a match corresponding to Matchday 22 of LALIGA HYPERMOTION. The Pepineros will be looking for their third consecutive victory to keep their winning streak alive.
The second half of the season kicks off for Leganés, which has secured two wins in its first two matches of 2026. The Blue-and-Whites now face the challenge of visiting Castellón without the injured Figueredo, Pulido, and Duk—who are still recovering—and without Miguel de la Fuente, who was loaned to Almería this week.
For its part, Castellón enters the match firmly in the promotion playoff zone after securing five consecutive home wins and suffering just one loss in its last ten matches. Head coach Pablo Hernández will be without the injured Douglas, while Óscar Gil left the team on Thursday.
The match will be officiated by referee Dámaso Arcediano from Castilla-La Mancha.
