C.D. Leganés hosts Real Sociedad ‘B’ this Saturday (4:15 p.m.) at Estadio Ontime Butarque in a match corresponding to Matchday 23 of LALIGA HYPERMOTION. The Pepineros will look to get back to winning ways in their return home against a direct rival in the lower-midtable.
Leganés returns home after its recent rout of Real Valladolid, a run it was unable to extend on the road in Castellón. However, the return to the warmth of the blue-and-white fans allows for hopes of another victory that would help the team climb the table. Igor Oca could now have Dani Rodríguez available, a winter signing who joined the squad this week, while Duk could return to the roster after overcoming his nagging injury. The injured Pulido will remain sidelined.
For its part, Real Sociedad ‘B’ arrives in Leganés outside the relegation zone, two points behind the Pepineros and coming off three consecutive draws. The Txuri-Urdin reserve team, which has gone three away games without a loss, will feature Leganés youth product Sydney Osazuwa, the second-youngest player to make his professional debut with the first team, behind only Samuel Eto’o.
The match will be officiated by referee Germán Cid.
