Leganés B suffered a narrow defeat on matchday 21 of Group 7 of Tercera RFEF in the match played at I.D. Butarque against C.F. Trival Valderas (0-1).
In the first half, the Pepineros' reserve team had two clear chances to take the lead. The first was from Rassoul Camara and the second was from Burcio, but in both cases the visiting goalkeeper was on target.
With no goals at halftime, Manolo Rueda's team continued to search for the first goal of the match in the second half, but in the 70th minute, Trival Valderas took the lead after a defensive miscue. Just five minutes after conceding the goal, Leganés B reacted immediately and Lucas Macazaga managed to equalize, but the referee ruled that there had been a foul on the goalkeeper and disallowed the equalizer.
The reserve team relinquished the lead and is now in second place with 42 points, one behind the leader. The next league match will be against C.D. Galapagar at the I.D. Butarque on Sunday, February 15, at 4:00 p.m.
