The Pepinero reserve team secured its second consecutive victory with a 6-0 win over Racing Ciudad de Madrid in the match corresponding to Matchday 29 of Group 7 in Tercera RFEF.
A brace by Rassoul Camara gave the reserve team the lead in the first half. The home side was reduced to ten men in the 38th minute following a foul on our forward Carlos Muñoz.
After halftime, the team led by Manolo Rueda continued to look to extend their lead. Once again, in the 67th minute, Racing Ciudad de Madrid saw another player sent off with a straight red card following a hard tackle. In the 71st minute, Noé Pérez made it 0-3. Two minutes later, Jairo made it 0-4. In the 80th minute, Hugo García scored the fifth goal of the match, and Carlos Muñoz sealed the rout.
Leganés B sits in third place with 50 points, four points behind the leader. After twenty-nine matchdays, the reserve team remains the side with the fewest goals conceded (24) and the second-highest goal tally (56).
The next league match will be at I.D. Butarque against U.D. San Sebastián de los Reyes ‘B’.
