C.D. Leganés continues to make progress in the process of improving and modernizing the Ontime Butarque Stadium and its surroundings. The club has already obtained all the necessary permits to begin exterior renovation work on the stadium, a project that will involve an investment of more than two million euros.
The main focus of the project will be the outdoor plaza located in front of Gate 0, with the goal of transforming this space and making it more functional, accessible, and versatile.
The project will create a more accessible and versatile space, designed to be enjoyed by C.D. Leganés fans and the general public alike. The new layout will facilitate the hosting of various sporting, social, cultural, and recreational activities, thereby expanding the possibilities for using the outdoor areas of Ontime Butarque beyond game days.
A more accessible and versatile space capable of hosting different activities
This initiative is being carried out in collaboration with the Leganés City Council, particularly its departments of Urban Planning and the Environment, as part of a shared goal to continue improving the stadium’s surroundings and its integration with the city.
With this new investment, C.D. Leganés is taking another step forward in its commitment to improving the facilities and areas surrounding the Ontime Butarque Stadium, in line with the widespread upgrades being made to all LALIGA teams’ stadiums and their surroundings, creating a more modern, accessible environment that is ready to host new experiences and activities.
The Club thus continues working to ensure that Ontime Butarque is not only the venue where Lega plays, but also a place for members, fans, and all residents of Leganés to meet and socialize.
