With the need to win again

C.D. Leganés hosts Albacete Balompié this Saturday (6:30 p.m.) at Ontime Butarque Stadium in a match for Matchday 13 of LALIGA HYPERMOTION 2026/27. The Pepineros will look to get back to winning ways and end their losing streak.

Leganés returns home after failing to earn any points on their visit to Valladolid—their first away game of the Luis Carrión era. Following the draw against Mallorca, the Barcelona-born coach faces his second home match against Albacete—a game for which he will be without Pulido and Kechta, who are suspended due to accumulated yellow cards, and will have to assess the fitness of the injured Lalo and Ignasi Miquel. Meanwhile, Tejero and Atienza could be available again.

For its part, Albacete heads into the match in high spirits after two consecutive wins—its first of the season—both at home against Eldense and Sabadell. Now, Joseba Etxeberria’s team—which took over from Alberto González four matchdays ago—will look to secure its first away win without the suspended Corpas or the injured Fran Gámez, Puertas, Munir, and Obeng.
