Lucas Macazaga, on loan to S.D. Ponferradina

C.D. Leganés and S.D. Ponferradina have reached an agreement for the loan of our 19-year-old footballer Lucas Macazaga to the Berciano outfit for the 2026/2027 season.

Youth academy player Lucas Macazaga, a full international with Bolivia, will play next season with S.D. Ponferradina in Primera RFEF. The young right-back played 22 matches last campaign with the Pepinero reserve team in Group 7 of Tercera Federación and in the promotion play-off to Segunda RFEF. Additionally, in the month of March, he played in the World Cup qualifiers with the Bolivian senior national team.
