C.D. Leganés' coach, Asier Garitano, appeared at a telematic press conference at the end of the match played by the pepineros at the Visit Mallorca Estadi against R.C.D. Mallorca, corresponding to the thirty-second round of LaLiga SmartBank, and which ended with a 1-0 win for the home team.
The coach analyzed the match in this way: "We have had problems since yesterday with a problem with Bustinza. We knew it could be a low-scoring, tight game and we saw that. The match is decided in a set piece and we need to be much more solvent there. We had two chances at the end, we had it there, but every match is decided by a small detail and that's how it was. We knew the importance of this option to be able to bother and from now on we have to think about another story".
The player from Bergara already sees it very difficult to reach the direct promotion positions: "With ten matches left it was the opportunity to get closer. With ten points left it is very, very complicated, but we will keep fighting because getting into the play-offs will be hard and we will need everyone's help to lift people up. We wanted to get closer to the top rivals but now we have to keep competing to try to get to the play-offs and be ready if we can play them. We will have to help people to bring out their best version. The most important thing is to reach the play-offs, but for that we have to see with what mentality we arrive. We will have to suffer and we will see how the team responds in these next matches", he concluded.
