C.D. Leganés 'B' have signed Caio Lopes da Costa Schoell to reinforce their central midfield. The 21 year old player arrives from Vasco da Gama, with first team and first division experience, as well as international background with the U-17 national team.
A central midfielder, Lopes is 1.80m in stature. Having developed in the Vasco da Gama youth set-up, he made his first team debut in the first division almost a year ago in a fixture against Botafogo. Since then, he had made 17 appearances and scored once for the black and white team, his first goal coming against Ponte Preta in August.
Caio got to know the club facilities on Monday, signing his contract and donning his new shirt. This week will see him join Carlos Martínez's squad in training.
