C.D Leganés and C.A Osasuna agreed the one-season loan of 27-year old winger Roberto Ibañez. The winger who has already played at Butarque on the 2016/17 season returns to the club for the 2020/21 season.
Róber made his professional debut with Valencia C.F on the 2014/15 season after being part of its academy. He was loaned to Granada C.D for the second leg of the season. He played and important role for the nazarí team scoring five goals and being loaned for another season.
Two goals and a big injury after his first starting match with Leganés
He arrived to Leganés in the summer of 2016 to reinforce the team on its first season in First Division. He made his debut making an assist at Granada and scored two goals on his first starting match against Osasuna, he got injured on that same game and was forced to finish his role as a pepinero after playing five matches and scoring two goals.
He played again for Valencia C.F and managed to score a goal in Copa del Rey. He was signed by Getafe C.F and later loaned to C.A Osasuna for the second leg of the 2017/18 season.
Promotion with Osasuna in 2018/19
He started playing for the azulones in 2018/19 but was loaned again to Osasuna in January 2019. He managed to reach the promotion to LaLiga Santander and was officially signed for the last season in which he played eighteen matches.
Four years later Róber returns to Butarque to help Leganés with its objectives for the next season. A fast player with attacking skills that can play on both sides of the pitch and even behind the forward. He will wear the number 18 and will be presented on August 25th at I.D Butarque (12:00h).
