Dimitrios Siovas reaches 100 official matches with C.D Leganés

C.D Leganés footballer Dimitrios Siovas reached 100 matches played for the white and blue jersey las Saturday. The 31 years old Greek central defender made his 100th appearance on official matches at his fourth season at the club.

Siovas arrived at Leganés from Olympiacos F.C on 2017’s winter transfer market. He made his debut on a match against Atlético de Madrid at Vicente Calderon Stadium on February. On his first season as a pepinero he played 16 matches and scored his first goal at El Sadar playing against Osasuna. He helped the team to stay al LaLiga´s Primera División on its debut on this competition.

Siovas had 30 appearances on 2017/18 season between LaLiga and Copa del Rey and managed to score 2 goals against Sevilla on Copa del Rey’s semifinals and against Real Betis on the last LaLiga´s match.

Last campaign was the one that Siovas played the most with a total of 37 matches. He scored a goal against Real Valladolid at Zorrilla.

The Greek has played 17 matches this season and last Saturday he reached his 100th appearance for the club. He is currently the fourth pepinero with most games played behind Eraso (162), Rubén Pérez (118) and Bustinza (117).
