Goalless draw between Leganés B and Alcorcón B in the match held at I.D. Butarque, corresponding to the first matchday of Group 7 of Tercera RFEF.
Points were shared between the reserve team of C.D. Leganés and the reserve team of A.D. Alcorcón in the league debut for both sides. Igor Oca made his debut as the coach of the "pepinero" bench and presented the following starting eleven: Javi Garrido in goal, a defensive line formed by Carlos De Miguel, Leiva, Beltrán, and Leiton, midfield with Camara, Nakai, and Burcio, and the attacking trio of Carlos Muñoz, Yuri, and Sule El Haddadi.
In the first half, there were hardly any clear goal-scoring opportunities for either team, but the "pepinero" reserve team dominated possession and took the initiative in the game. In the second half, Igor Oca's team stepped up, and especially in the last half hour, they threatened the opponent's goal more. Rosell, initially, tried to open the scoring with a shot from the edge of the area, and in the last play of the match, Sule El Haddadi had the winning goal at his feet, but a great save by the visiting goalkeeper prevented the first victory of the season for the "pepinero" team.
The next league match will be on Sunday, September 14, at 11:30 a.m. at Los Prados against A.D. Parla.
