The Butarque Municipal Stadium and the city of Leganés hosted for the first time a match of the Spanish men's national soccer team. The national team clearly defeated Lithuania (4-0) in the last friendly match of preparation before the European Championship that starts this Friday.
The match was marked by the large number of young players who made their debut with the senior national team due to the appearance of two cases of Covid-19 in the concentration of Spain, which prevented the group of players selected for the tournament to play the Butarque match.
