Danish forward player Martin Braithwaite will not be part of C.D Leganés anymore after his termination clause was payed this Thursday at LaLiga´s headquarters. 28 years old forward will continue his career at F.C Barcelona after this club was authorized to sign a new player to its squad because of Ousmane Dembélé’s long term injury.
Braithwaite leaves Leganés after being at the club for more than a year. The Danish was loaned from Middlesbrough on January 2019 and helped Leganés to achieve its objectives managing to score five goals in the second half of 2019/20 season. Since last summer when his services were officially acquired by the club, Braithwaite played 27 games and scored eight goals for the team.
The club wishes the player the best both professionally and personally.
