C.D Leganés will receive A.D Alcorcón this Sunday (14:00h) at Estadio Municipal Butarque for the 12th matchday of LaLiga SmartBank. The pepineros will try to get their fourth consecutive home win against a rival with a new manager.
C.D Leganés will play again at Butarque this weekend. The pepineros have won five matches there (a total of six wins in the season) and three of them have been consecutive, a record that did not occur in the last three years. The pepineros won their last three home matches against Real Zaragoza (1-0), Real Oviedo (2-1), and C.D Mirandés (1-0) and will be pursuing their fourth consecutive home win to continue with their streak and being at the top of the league.
The white and blues manager José Luis Martí will not be able to count with the two international players that are with their national teams: Venezuelan Roberto Rosales, and Japanese Gaku Shibasaki. Omeruo, Jonathan Silva, and Santos also will not be available, while Rubén Pérez will be since the competition retired his fifth yellow card after the request presented.
A.D Alcorcón will be fighting for the derby win with Anquela making his debut on the bench
On the other hand, A.D Alcorcón arrives to Butarque with the purpose of breaking the bad streak of the last matchdays. A new manager has arrived to the alfareros since Mere Hermoso was sacked after losing against C.F Fuenlabrada. Juan Antonio Anquela is the new head coach but has recent experience with the yellows when he was manager between 2007 and 2012, reaching the second division promotion and being just one point away from arriving to the top category.
The new manager will have to play without the defenders José Carlos and Castro who were sent off by the referee on their previous match. The Panamanian Fidel Escobar is currently playing with his national team and will not be available. The yellows will return to Butarque with two former pepineros: the defender Laure Sanabria who played with Leganés in the 2006/07 season and midfielder Juan Aguilera who was part of the team between 2005 and 2008.
Mr. D. Gorka Sagués Oskoz will be the referee.
