The C.D. Leganés manager Mauricio Pellegrino spoke to the media at ID Butarque on Thursday morning ahead of the match against Espanyol at Cornellá for LaLiga.
The cucumber manager spoke highly of our next rivals R.C.D. Espanyol. "Espanyol was one of the best teams of the league at the beginning of the season and despite not getting good results in their latest matches, they've performed well and remain a team with very good football and quality players" he added.
Pellegrino also spoke about our latest signing: "The arrival of Martin Braithwaite can give us movement, he's a smart striker which has shown efectiveness both assisting and finishing. He's good news because he'll make us stronger, there will be more competition.
The argentine was in good spirits ahead of Friday's match and the rest of the upcoming games: "We hope we can gift ourselves a good performance, each match has to help us to keep growing and to improve our critical spirit and humbleness. I hope these days of rest were helpful to charge batteries. We have a busy calendar and we'll need everybody".
