Mehdi Nafti: “I’m happy for my players and for our fans, because the teams is always proud. There is always something to play for”

The head coach of C.D. Leganés, Mehdi Nafti talked after the match against Huesca in which his team defeated the aragonés team for a result of 2-1 with two goals of Seydoba Cissé

I’m very happy for my players and for our fans, in the last game against Málaga we did not have very good sensations. Today I’d Like the team I saw on the field and that is a consequence of what we are doing on the trainings during the week. Even though there were some disadvantages in the first half the team could overcome, suffer and get the result that we expected ``, says the coach about the match against Huesca.

After this, Nafti added, “we have seen a very good match, and we demonstrate that the people that said that in this match there is nothing left for playing, they are wrong. The players have played with pride and there is something to fight for”. 

At the end the trainer talked about the man of the match, “Cisse has been growthing bit a bit, he has been training with the team with some good days and other ones not so good, but that is the dynamic of the first team. I do not see him as a player from the quarry,  but it is true that he can be a mirror for other guys that are on the “cantera pepinera” . This is a reward for what they are doing on the youth divisions, they are working pretty good.
