Message from Victoria Pavón.
Dear C.D Leganés’ season ticket holders and fans.
We never imagined we would live such hard and difficult times with a pandemic impacting our city and family from the city of Leganés. We want to take a time to remember all the fans that have passed away on these days, our thoughts are with their families and friends.
I would like to send a support and love message to all the people that continue fighting against this illness and thank all the professionals that are doing their best to contain the danger for us: our heroes from our Hospital, Civil Guard, Civil Defense, Firefighters and everyone that has been involved on the job of covering our needs.
On the other hand, I would also like to inform you about the special situation the club is actually on. We have reached an agreement with both our players and coaching staff that involves a reduction of 16% on their annual salary in case the 19/20 league cannot be finished, if the competition can be completed no reduction to their salaries would apply.
All the players and coaching staff have agreed to extend their link with the Club beyond June 30th no matter what day the 19/20 league may end. I would like to thank the solidarity and will that our professional football players and coaching staff have had on the negotiation of this agreement.
I would also like to recognize the commitment and will that our second team has had on their salary adjustments. I want to acknowledge as well all of our boys and girls from our academy and our genuine team players, my thought are with you and I sincerely hope that you will be with us soon performing the sport you love the most.
All the C.D Leganés staff and workers will continue to be receiving their normal salary with any type of reduction or adjustment.
The Club has been working on finding the best formula to compensate to all our season ticket holders if any 19/20 season’ home match could not be watched live at Butarque.
We want to thank you for supporting Lega from your homes. We must be optimistic that step by step and with everyone’s commitment we will have our normal lifestyle back.
