CD Leganés midfielders Yvan Neyou (Cameroon) and Seydouba Cissé (Guinea) have been nominated for the SPORTY LALIGA MVP 2024/25, an award that recognises the best African player in LALIGA EA SPORTS.

Organised in collaboration with SPORTY GROUP, the award highlights the impact of African talent in Spanish football. This year’s edition features 20 nominees from 13 African nations, including standout performers from clubs across the league.
The winner will be decided through a combined vote: fans from Sub-Saharan Africa and a panel of 25 top African sports journalists.

Voting is open until Wednesday 14 May (Geolocated voting for Sub-Saharan Africa), with the winner to be announced on Africa Day, Sunday 25 May, coinciding with the final matchday of the season.
