Rubén Pardo: "I'm very happy to be back at Leganés"

The Riojan spoke this Tuesday on his renewed time at Leganés, now having officially signed after his loan deal last season, and expressed his delight to be continue playing in blue and white at the Butarque.

"I'm very happy to be reunited with everyone at Leganés. Last year I was very happy on and off the pitch. There was this opportunity to re-sign, we discussed it and it worked out, so I'm very happy. It was something both the club and I were keen to finalise since I first met my teammates and once it became possible we took the next step", he commented.

The midfielder had to praise his reception by the pepinero fans: "I feel very loved by the fans and now it's up to me to reciprocate that on the pitch and repay their trust in me. Coming here to play as an away player, the Butarque feels like a pressure cooker so now it's time to enjoy it myself, with the fans encouraging us and there's no doubt, in the toughest moments, they'll give us the support we need. I'm convinced they're always there for us, so we'll keep working every day and the victories will come".
