Sergio González scored his first goal in LaLiga SmartBank with the C.D. Leganés jersey.

C.D. Leganés player Sergio González scored his first goal this Monday in LaLiga SmartBank with the pepinera shirt. The Blue and Whites' center-back scored against S.D. Ponferradina the only goal of the team, in what was his second goal of the season.

The '6' pepinero had debuted as a scorer last December 15, when he scored the winning goal for Leganés in the first round of the Copa de S.M. El Rey against Ourense C.F. in O Couto. Against Ourense, Sergio took advantage of a pass from Miguel de la Fuente after a corner kick to take the ball to the back of the net and make his debut in the league tournament.
The defender from Madrid was not satisfied with the team's draw: "The important thing is the team and we didn't get the three points. We had the game under control, we missed several chances and in the end we were down a player and, in the next action, they scored a goal and you leave with a draw, which is not what we wanted. We have to keep working thinking about the next match, we have to get to the end with a good feeling and compete until the end".
