The senior C.D. Leganés women's team hunt for their second victory of the season

Making their first appearance at the Anexo Jesús Polo, the senior C.D. Leganés women's team, like C.D. Magerit, are after a second consecutive league victory. The pepineras won their league opener last week to Juventud Sanse and return to play this Saturday at 15:30 CEST.

Football is back at the Anexo Jesús Polo. This time for the second fixture of the senior C.D. Leganés women's team. Jero Martos' players will be looking to build from the momentum of a victory on the first matchday against Juventud Sanse, a task that will be all the easier with the support of the home fans.

Yet they come across a team who also search for a consecutive league victory. C.D. Magerit started their campaign with a complete performance against one of the strongest teams in the league in their 2-0 win over A.D. Colmenar Viejo.

“It's a complex league, you need to stay alert and work like crazy to acheive their objectives"

Jero Martos gave his assessment of the game last week against Juventud Sanse, "a great result", in which the team "gave a very positive performance". Now, ahead of C.D. Magerit, the only aim is to "get another three points". However, lying in the way of a consecutive victory is a team "that came away with an excellent result last week and has demonstrated they have a well-oiled team with a capable coaching staff behind them".

On the league as a whole, Martos perceives it to be "very, very technical, [a league] where every team has the ability to become the victors on a matchday". As such, he cautioned his side to remain "alert and work like crazy to acheive their objectives".
