The C.D. Leganés squad begins its Christmas vacations this Thursday after finishing the first round of the league season on Wednesday with a draw against C.D. Tenerife at Butarque. The players will enjoy a week's rest before resuming training on Thursday 28th at the Butarque Sports Facility.
The team goes into the break at the top of the table, having lifted, for the first time in its history, the honorary title of Segunda División winter champion. After failing to advance to the round of 32 of the Copa de S.M. El Rey, the team coached by Borja Jiménez has set its next match for Sunday, January 14 (2:00 p.m.) in Andorra.
The players will return to work on Thursday 28 in an afternoon session (16:30) at the Butarque Sports Facility, and will also train on Friday 29 and Saturday 30, in both cases at 11:00. Sunday 31 and Monday 1 will be rest days, while on Tuesday, January 2, regular activity will return to the I.D.
