C.D. Leganés Youth C has clinched the Grupo 2 Primera División Autonómica league title. The team, led by Nacho Díaz, has been mathematically proclaimed champions with three matchdays still remaining in the season.
The Youth C side became champions of Group 2 of the Primera División Autonómica after a commanding 0-3 victory over C.F. Fuenlabrada U-18 B in the match played at La Aldehuela.
The "pepinero" squad is having an extraordinary season, boasting a record of 20 wins, 9 draws, and only 2 defeats. Furthermore, Youth C is the highest-scoring team in Group 2 with 75 goals in their favor, and the most solid defensively, having conceded just 22 goals.
Retaining the championship title
With this achievement, Youth C secures the league title for the second consecutive season, following last year's campaign where they mathematically lifted the trophy with seven matchdays to spare.
This marks another success for the "Cantera Pepinera," demonstrating the excellent work being carried out across the club's youth academy, finishing ahead of other prominent academies in the Community of Madrid such as Rayo Vallecano, Getafe C.F., and C.D. Móstoles.
A special mention also goes to coach Adrián Cascos and his coaching staff, who began the season in charge of Youth C before moving up to take the reins of the club's Youth B.
