C.D. Leganés has presented and registered its accounts for the 2024/25 season with the Commercial Registry. These accounts show a profit of €9.36 million, in a season marked by the team's return to the First Division after four consecutive years in the Second Division.
With these profits, the club has improved its financial situation, which had been weighed down by accumulated losses in recent years, using the entire result to reduce part of those losses generated during the previous three seasons, which totaled more than €20 million. This is an important step towards regaining financial balance and improving the club's economic health after a period of heavy investment. In addition, this progress has also prevented LALIGA from assigning a rating that would have implied stricter control and the obligation to provide additional guarantees.
During the financial year, the Club has continued to invest heavily in its sporting and non-sporting personnel structure (+€3.4 million), youth academy (+€1.5 million), and facilities (+€2 million), with particular emphasis on the administrative concession of the Ontime Butarque Stadium approved by the Leganés City Council in May 2025.
C.D. Leganés faces the future with ambition, but also with responsibility. The economic improvement achieved this fiscal year allows the Club to enjoy greater stability, assets, and room for maneuver, which are essential elements for building competitive and sustainable sports projects.
The Club's commitment is clear: to continue growing with a long-term vision, combining sporting ambition, structural investment, and responsible management to ensure a solid future for C.D. Leganés.
