C.D. Leganés goalkeeper Asier Riesgo valued as very important the match that will face the pepineros this Sunday (21:30) and U.D. Logroñés in Butarque. The goalkeeper believes that a complicated clash awaits them, but one in which they have to prove that it is as important or more important than for the Riojanos.
"I think it's going to be a very complicated match, against a team with a lot of need that is going to demand the maximum from us to get the three points. They have to play on the edge and for us the match is just as important or more important than for them," he analyzed. "We have to win to be closer to the play-offs and, when these matches come with so much need, they tend to be very close and close games. We have to prepare well and use our weapons to win it".
Regarding his current sporting moment, the goalkeeper assures that he tries to "contribute as much as I can to the team. It would be better if I didn't have to make saves or if we had less chances, but in the end it's soccer and the important thing is to win and get into the play-offs. We want people to believe in us, we have a common goal in mind and we want to achieve it".
