C.D. Leganés officially presented newly signed striker Borja Garcés this Wednesday morning. The forward, who arrives on loan from Atlético de Madrid, expressed his gratitude for the "club's interest", describing Leganés as a "club with ambition, and I have ambition".
Txema Indias, the club sporting director welcome Garcés saying: "We are very grateful and proud that he decided to join the club. Borja has been making great strides, scoring goals every year, he even made his debut in the top flight with a goal. For his part, Garcés leaves his first steps at the club in the hands of coach Asier Garitano, with faith that "he can help me to grow", stating "I will do whatever the coach asks me to do. I want to win" and "help the club reach its objectives".
The new striker, who will wear number '28', sees himself as "a hard worker", "ambitious" and ready to "sacrifice a lot for the team", which is why the coach "will get the most from me". The number 9 admits that "the pressure is good" because "it makes you be alert". So, Borja Garcés becomes a key point in the blanquiazul attack, promising to do "the best for the team".
