C.D. Leganés receives R.C.D. Mallorca, on Saturday (4:00 p.m.), in the Butarque Stadium, which will be the first match between both teams in First Division. Pepineros and Majorcans have faced each others six times so far, all in Second Division, with two wins for each team and two draws.
The first match between the two dates back to the 1993/94 season, with a draw (1-1) in the former Municipal Luis Rodríguez de Miguel. The two cucumber victories go back to the 1994/95 campaign (3-2, with hat-trick by Michelangelo), and, more recently, in the 2014/15 season (3-1), also with a cucumber hat-trick, in this case by Borja Lázaro.
The last precedent between Leganés and Mallorca in Madrid dates back to November 1st, 2015, and ended with a goalless draw (0-0).
