C.D. Leganés 'B' could not score in the last match of the season against Unión Adarve (1-2) in the match corresponding to the sixth day of the play-off for promotion to 2nd R.F.E.F.
The two teams that have achieved direct promotion to the Second Division RFEF met at the I.D. Butarque. The Puebla reserve team took the field with two changes from the last match, with Javi Garrido making his debut in an official match in goal and Cissé at right back for Javi Rubio.
First half of maximum equality. Carlos Martínez's team had control of the game, while Adarve sought to do damage to the back of the defense. Iván, with a header, could have put the Pepeños' subsidiary ahead, but the ball crashed against the crossbar.
In the second half, Borona put the reserve team ahead in the 48th minute with a great right-footed shot into the top corner to make it 1-0. With the scoreboard in favor, there were numerous chances for Carlos Martínez's team. Mario Rivas, Iker and Álex could have extended distances, but their shots were saved by the visiting goalkeeper.
The visitors, in one of the few chances they had in the match, managed to equalize. Baltasar took advantage of a rebound by Javi Garrido after a great intervention by the Pepinero goalkeeper to equalize in the 73rd minute. Despite the equalizer at I.D. Butarque, C.D. Leganés continued to arrive dangerously to the rival goal. Álex could have made it 2-1 with a powerful shot inside the area. In the 81st minute, Unión Adarve made it 1-2 with a cross-shot by Park that slipped into Javi Garrido's goal.
A defeat that does not tarnish the historic season that has signed the C.D. Leganés 'B' having proclaimed champion of Group 7 of Third Division, with the promotion to 2nd RFEF and being undefeated in the regular league.
