C.D. Leganés 'B' can't win against Unión Adarve (3-2)

The pepinero reserve team failed to score in their visit to Vicente Del Bosque against A.D. Unión Adarve (3-2) in the match corresponding to the third day of the play-off for promotion to Segunda R.F.E.F.

The match started in the best way for C.D. Leganés 'B' that in the 11th minute got ahead on the scoreboard with an Olympic goal by Álex to which the local goalkeeper could do nothing. With the scoreboard in favor, Carlos Martinez's team continued attacking and managed to widen the gap in the 33rd minute with a great goal by Yael from outside the area that went into the corner of the net. Unión Adarve managed to reduce the deficit with a free kick on the edge of the area that Adrián Victores could not clear. The score was 1-2 at halftime.

Already in the second half, in the 57th minute Mario in an attempt to clear the ball scored in his own goal putting the 2-2 on the scoreboard. In the 65th minute, Adarve managed to come back after a free kick from the corner that Montejo finished off at the far post. C.D. Leganés 'B' saw how the locals turned the game around from set pieces. Despite going behind, the pepinero reserve team had chances to equalize with a header by Diego García that went wide and a close-range shot by Iker that was cleared off the line by a local player to avoid the 3-3 draw.

Despite the defeat, the pepinero subsidiary continues to lead and depends on itself in the remaining three rounds to achieve the goal. The next match will be on Sunday 25 against Rayo Vallecano at I.D. Butarque.
