C.D. Leganés 'B' is one of only three Spanish soccer teams in the national category that remains undefeated. The pepinero subsidiary is, together with C.D. Tropezón from Cantabria and At. Pulpileño from Murcia, the only one that has not lost so far this season among the top four categories.
The team coached by Carlos Martínez is the leader of Group 7B of the Third Division, with a balance of thirteen wins and five draws in the eighteen matches they have played, and qualified for the promotion play-off with four games in advance. The pepineros are one of the three teams out of the 541 competing in First (20), Second (22), Second 'B' (102) and Third Division (397) that have yet to lose.
Tropezón and At. Pulpileño, the other two undefeated teams
The other two teams that have not lost this season are C.D. Tropezón from Cantabria, in Group 3A, with twelve wins and six draws; and Club Atlético Pulpileño from Murcia, in Group 13A, with the same record.
C.D. Leganés 'B' will face two more matches to finish the regular league, against C.D. El Álamo (Sunday 21, 11:30 a.m.) and A.D. Alcorcón 'B' (Sunday, March 28). Afterwards, they will play the promotion phase with six more matches in which they will try to finish their great campaign.
