C.D Leganés commemorate the International day of Book with the great writer Miguel Gane.

C.D. Leganés commemorate the international day of Book, that is celebrated next saturday 23 of april, talking with Miguel Gane, one of the best and successful writers now at Leganés for more than 20 years, about the conexion that exists with football and literature.

Gane was born in Romania 29 years ago but has lived in Leganés since he was a child, considering that our city is his home. He define himself as a writer and on his work he include narrative poetry, highlighting between them the titles “La piel en los labios”,”Ahora qué ya bailas”, or “"Ojos de sol".

“In football there is a very nice passion that can be taken to the books”

For Miguel, “it is possible to be a writer and a football fan. My team is Rapid of Bucharest, but when I arrive at Leganés, I see the family feeling because the people of the neighbor were in the stadium. The feeling is more pure than a bigger club, and it help to disconnect from the day to day activities, there is a lot of emotion and sacrifice”.

“Literature can be for masses, and not for watching football you will be a worse writer. There is a nice passion that can be seen in books and that is worth it for those that want to be football players, writers… there is no need to generate expectatives, we need to work and enjoy the path”.
