C.D. Leganés defeats C.F. Fuenlabrada in the second preseason match (2-0)

On Saturday morning, C.D. Leganés played the second preseason match against C.F. Fuenlabrada, earning a 2-0 victory.

Mauricio Pellegrino’s squad achieved the first victory of preseason after defeating Fuenlabrada with two goals in the first half. Sabin Merino broke the tie for the cucumbers after beating Biel Ribas with a crosse shot to put the 1-0. Ten minutes later, by 42nd minute, Aitor Ruibal debuted scoring with the cucumber shirt after a pass by Oscar Rodriguez from the left to reflect the 2-0 on the scoreboard.

After half-time, Mauricio Pellegrino realized many substitutions to give minutes to all the players in the squad. A disputed second half where Juan Soriano, goalkeeper for the second half, barely struggled. A goal by Sergio for Fuenlabrada and another by Juan Muñoz in the end were annulled by the referee using the VAR and did not go up to the scoreboard due to offside position in both cases.

Lega continues accumulating minutes of preparation before the start of La Liga next month of August.
