C.D. Leganés reached an agreement on Thursday with 28-year-old Polish striker Piotr Parzyszek to join the club for the next two seasons. The striker arrives from Italian side Frosinone, although he spent last season on loan at Pogon Szczecin in his native country.
A big 1'91m attacker, Parzyszek came through the ranks of Dutch football, making his debut for De Graafschap in the 2012/13 season. He went on to play for British club Charlton Athletic, Belgian side Sint-Truidense and Danish side Randers before returning to the Netherlands to the club he made his debut for and then Zwolle the following year. In 2018 he signed for Polish side Piast Gliwice, while in 2020 his next destination was Italian side Frosinone.
Last season, Parzyszek played on loan at Pogon Szczecin in the Polish Ekstraklasa. An international with his country at youth level, he is noted for his aerial play and finishing ability with both legs. He signs for the next two seasons and the date of his presentation will be announced soon.
