C.D. Leganés already knows the dates and times of the matches of the first play-off for promotion to LaLiga Santander. The pepineros will face Rayo Vallecano on Thursday 3 at Vallecas and Sunday 6 at Butarque, both matches starting at 21:00.
After finishing in third place in the regular league, Asier Garitano's side will face Rayo Vallecano in the semifinals for promotion. The first leg will be held at the Estadio de Vallecas on Thursday, June 3 at 21:00, while the second leg will take place at Butarque on Sunday, June 6, also at 21:00.
It should be remembered that in the play-off there will be no penalty shootout, so if at the end of the ninety minutes of the second leg the score is a draw, a 30-minute extra time will be played. If the score remains equal, C.D. Leganés will qualify by finishing in better position in the regular league. The other round will be played by Girona F.C. and U.D. Almería, in matches to be played on Wednesday, June 2 and Saturday, June 5.
