Dani Jiménez join the other twenty goalkeeper that defend Léganés in LaLiga SmartBank

Dani Jiménez debuted last sunday in the match of LaLiga Smartbank with C.D Leganés, and with this he converts himself in the twenty-one goalkeeper that defend the club in a match of the silver division during this fifteen seasons in which the white and blue have played in Second Division. 

Dani is the third goalkeeper that played with Leganés this season, and with his debut last sunday he joined with the other three goalies to a history of Leganés in second division. The first one was Javier Aguilera, he is the player with more official matches with the team (460), and with this he converted into the first person to defend the posts in the silver division. In that same year, Mario Soria  debuted in this division, and he also scored a goal against Castellon, and with this he converted into the first goalkeeper in history to score a goal.

Next year it was Benito that could debut with Luis Ángel Duque and give the substitution of the person of Emilio in the season of 1995/96 already with Luis Sánchez Duque. Julio Iglesias and Unanua (Photo) defend in the ‘pepinero’ frame on the 1996/97 season, while Raúl Rodríguez got his chance next year when the team set at Butarque stadium. 

In 1998 Rául Arribas entered the club, the second goalkeeper with more matches on the club and the person who defended the goal for seven seasons. On the second stage on Leganés at LaLiga SmartBank, between 2014 and 2016, the goal white and blue was defended by Jon Ander Serantes, the principal keeper of the first promotion of the team, Dani Barrio y Queco Piña who then he will pass with the staff of the team with Asier Garitano as the trainer of the goalkeeper

More recently are the pepinero goalkeepers of the third part in the second division, in wich they have defend the frame last season (Cuéllar, Diego Conde and Riesgo) and the ones that have done it recently, the same Riesgo, the galician Iván Villar and the andalucian Dani Jiménez
