C.D. Leganés reaches two million followers on social networks

C.D. Leganés has reached two million followers on its social media profiles on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Sina Weibo. This historic milestone means doubling the total number of followers in just one year.

With origins dating back to 2009, from that year onwards the club began to boost its communication, update its website and open the first profiles on social networks, along with numerous campaigns that also had a presence on the street, in schools or in the city's hospitals, as is still the case today.

Since then, Leganés has been able to build a very recognizable identity based on a sense of humor, closeness, and the de-dramatization of the sport. A profile that continues to resonate with users, who in one year have doubled to two million followers across all networks. Especially strong has been the growth in TikTok, where the club now has nearly one million followers, many of them through collaborations between the club and various influencers and 'tiktokers'.

C.D. Leganés is the fourth team in LaLiga SmartBank with the most followers behind only Málaga C.F., Levante U.D. and Granada C.F., and occupies the twenty-second position in the overall ranking of Spanish teams with the most followers.
