C.D. Leganés and C.D. Arenteiro agree on the loan of Alvin Abajas

The homegrown goalkeeper will play in the Galician club of the Primera Federación in the 2025/26 season.

C.D. Leganés and C.D. Arenteiro agreed this Monday on the loan of goalkeeper Álvaro Abajas Martín, "Alvin," 22 years old, for one season. The homegrown goalkeeper will play on loan for the Galician team, which competes in the Primera Federación.

Trained in the Pepinera Academy, Abajas combined the role of reserve team goalkeeper and third goalkeeper for the first team for two seasons. Last season, he was already established as a member of the first team squad, forming part of the trio of goalkeepers alongside Dmitrovic and Juan Soriano.

After completing the first part of the preseason in Mexico and the United States, Alvin now embarks on a new professional stage where he will seek playing time by going on loan to Arenteiro, which will compete again in Group 1 of the Primera Federación after finishing twelfth last season.

The club wishes the player the best of luck this season.
