The president of C.D. Leganés, Jeff Luhnow, visits the Spanish embassy in the United States

He was received by Ángeles Moreno in a meeting to strengthen ties between the two entities.

The president of C.D. Leganés, Jeff Luhnow, visited the Spanish embassy in the United States on Wednesday as part of the pre-season tour that the club has undertaken in North America.

The president was received in Washington by Ángeles Moreno, the Spanish ambassador to the United States, in a meeting to strengthen ties between the two entities, who hope to cooperate on new projects in the near future and, at the same time, allow the club to continue to expand its image internationally.

The club's president, Jeff Luhnow, assured that "it is an opportunity to visit the embassy and meet the ambassador. We are very happy to be here and promote football, the city of Leganés, the club and LALIGA. I think it has been a great success.

Ángeles Moreno commented that "it is a pleasure to have received the president of Leganés. We hope to be able to work more on this sporting diplomacy that is so important for Spain and for young people. It is a great letter of introduction for Spain", she concluded.
