C.D. Leganés honoured José Antonio Gallego Bonet, 'Gego', member number 2 of the club and someone who's been working within the club since the 1960/61 season with a ceremonial kick-off before the game against Atletico de Madrid.
Masseur, head of lawn maintenance, amongst other functions both for the first team and reserves, 'Gego' has earned the affection of those around him, as demonstrated by the canterano Javier Avilés, who went quickly to greet him.The more than 12,000 cucumbers that filled the stands of Butarque cheered him with a deserved and resounding applause.
