C.D Leganés presented the defender Javi Hernández as its newest player. The defender comes from Real Madrid and was excited about this new stage in his career.
The club’s sports director Txema Indias welcomed the player: “Javi is a player that arrives from Real Madrid. We have high hopes on him. We want him to be part of the club for many years. I will be good for us to have a left-footed profile in our defense. He is used to player as a center back or even as left-back. Javi I thank you for betting on this project and wish you good luck”.

The player described himself: “I feel comfortable playing as center-back and left-back. Last year I started playing as left-back and ended up as central. I feel equally good on both positions. I am feeling well and have trained during the whole preseason, feeling in shape. It is the manager’s decision when I will be able to have some minutes. We have not spoken yet face to face but he has transmitted a lot of trust in security on me”.

The trust they have put in me has made me feel very good. I see the team as a candidate to be at the top, there are players that have stayed and that increases the level of the team.
He has experience playing in LaLiga SmartBank and believes it will be a passionate challenge: “It is a challenging category Everything is equal and there are not many differences. It is a long league in which everything is decided at the end and will be competitive until the last match.
