Javier Avilés, Five Star Player of the Month for the month of April

C.D. Leganés fans have chosen winger Javier Avilés as the best player of the team in the month of April. The canterano was one of the most outstanding players in the matches played by the pepineros last month, and gets his first Mahou trophy of the season.

Avilés has been recognized by his fans as the Five Star Player of April. The '14' pepinero had an outstanding participation, starting as a starter, in the clashes against S.D. Ponferradina and A.D. Alcorcón, giving an assist to Gaku Shibasaki in the latter match. This award is organized by Mahou, the official beer of the Pepinero club.
The canterano wanted to thank his support to the pepinero fans: "I will return it with effort and work, we will do everything possible to achieve the goal".

Dynamics of the election of the Five-Star Player

Fans vote via Twitter, on the @futbolmahou profile, with the collaboration of the official C.D. Leganés account (@CDLeganes), for their chosen player among the five proposed by the club on a monthly basis with the hashtag #JugadorCincoEstrellas (#FiveStarPlayer). To vote they have to mark retweet or favorite the name of the player they want to be awarded the prize, within the deadline set for collecting votes. Once the votes are counted, the winner is determined.
The Five Star Player is awarded monthly and at the end of the season to choose the best player of the team. With initiatives like this, Mahou Cinco Estrellas once again demonstrates its loyal support to C.D. Leganés, offering the Blue and Whites' fans the experience of being part of this award.
