José Arnaiz scored again in his 50th game in the pepinera jersey

C.D. Leganés player José Arnaiz scored again with the pepinera shirt in the match in which he completed fifty official matches with the club. The talaverano opened the scoring against C.E. Sabadell, in what was his fifth goal of the season.

Arnaiz took advantage of a Borja Bastón back-heel pass in the 6th minute of the match to, almost from the edge of the area, connect a powerful left-footed shot that found its way into the goal defended by Mackay. It was his fifth goal of the current campaign, after those scored against Real Zaragoza, C.D. Mirandés, R.C.D. Espanyol and Rayo Vallecano, all of them at Butarque, which allows him to equal Borja Bastón as the second top scorer of the team only behind Sabin Merino, with eight.
The '10' completed fifty official matches with the pepinera shirt against the arlequinados. Arnaiz only participated in eight matches in his first season as a Blue and Whites' player due to his physical problems, playing another fourteen matches in the first half of the last 2019/20 season, and totaling twenty-eight in the current one. The half hundred matches are divided into 18 in LaLiga Santander, 27 in LaLiga SmartBank and five in the Copa del Rey.
