C.D Leganés’ manager José Luis Martí attended the media after the pepineros’ 1-0 win against A.D Alcorcón at Butarque. The manager was “happy for the players’ hard work and how they understood the match. They had personality and were assertive”.
The pepineros’ manager valued “the players’ effort and the three points, because this is a difficult competition in which winning is hard and Leganés has done it again. We feel that the team has understood the match and read well the difficulties”.
When asked about his players’ performance, he said that “results matter. For me, playing good means making what is needed to be done every time. The players are smart and that means playing well: understand the match, manage the situations, being intense. The rival also plays, and we must value what our players have achieved”.
