José Luis Martí: "We want to show that we are very much alive in this competition and that we aspire to the maximum"

The coach of the C.D. Leganés José Luis Martí appeared this Friday in a press conference in the previous of the match that the pepineros will play against the U.D. Almería and with which they will close the first round of the championship. The coach showed hope in achieving a good result against a direct rival.


Martí assessed the match against the Red-White: "Tomorrow we will have the last session and we will decide who is available. It is a match against a direct rival of tremendous importance. We are confident in our chances to try and take all three points. We have to correct our mistakes through work and compete in the best way," he said.

Regarding the weather, the coach acknowledged that "we have complicated a little planning with the snow. We will see how the field is but we have clear our plan. We are generating enough opportunities in the matches, although it is clear that to go ahead in the marker is key and gives you confidence. We will be a candidate for promotion until the end. We can always improve in several aspects, among them the success.
Finally, he valued the draw of Copa del Rey that paired the pepineros with Sevilla F.C.: "Sevilla is one of the most powerful teams in our soccer, but we are looking forward to continue in that competition", he finished.
